On 8 March, in celebration of International Women’s Day, Ethiopian Airlines flight ET835 touched down at Hosea Kutako International Airport with an all-female crew, marking a powerful moment for women in aviation

The flight from Addis Ababa to Windhoek highlighted the growing presence of women across the aviation industry and celebrated the achievements of women who continue to break barriers in technical and leadership roles.

Her Excellency President Netumbo Nandi‑Ndaitwah described the moment as a strong symbol of progress and inspiration for future generations of women pursuing careers in aviation.
